Fundraising events all over the world![]() Berlin Office brunch on July 4
Fundraising for Kids First happens all over the world. In the USA, we have sold International Cook Books, organized scavenger hunts, bake sales, and dance parties. Our local coordinators, host families and au pairs come up with new ideas all the time!
Cultural Care's au pair recruitment offices are some of our biggest contributors. Through bake sales, 5K races, donations from au pairs, and many other initiatives, our au pair recruitment offices have raised over USD10,000. The teachers at the Au Pair Training school on Long Island donate all proceeds from their snack station to Kids First - over USD8,000 every year. The best part of all is that we all have a lot of fun while knowing we are doing a great thing for a good cause. Arrange an event in your area
We encourage everyone to arrange an event in their area. A soccer game, a picnic or a children's road race!
While the goal is to have a great time with the children, of course it is great if we can do some fund raising as well. Maybe combine the day with a bake sale, or a lottery with donated items? Contact us if you want to arrange an event. International Children's Day - Kids First celebrated around the world
International Children's Day is widely celebrated each year on June 1st. Children's Day had its origin at the World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in Geneva in 1925 and is celebrated in many countries around the world and in 30 states in the U.S. This day each year serves as a reminder to us that there are millions of children in the world who need our help to prevent poverty, mistreatment and hunger. Cultural Care Kids First Foundation was excited to see all the events around the world to celebrate International Children's Day. |
