Working with our partners

A site visit to Cape Town 2010
100% of Kids First donations go directly to our partner organizations, with whom we maintain a close relationship. Using matched funds from Cultural Care Au Pair we are able to organize site visits meet the local staff in each of the countries, help with hands-on-projects, witness first-hand the impact of our efforts and help determine how we can help in the future.
Most of our Kids First funds have been used to buy the items that our partners needed that were simply unattainable for them. We purchased a bus for the orphanage in Russia, financed the building of a new daycare center in Cape Town, helped expand the mosaic program at an after-school program in Sao Paulo, and bought thousands of books for an elementary school library in New Orleans. We’ve also helped with other needs like educational materials, sporting equipment, warm mittens and scarves bunk beds. When we visit, we like to bring things for the children that will simply make them smile...like sunglasses for the kids in South Africa.

South Africa: Children of South Africa
In South Africa, we work closely with Children of South Africa (CHOSA), an American non profit organization. Through them, we support local organizations that reach out and take care of orphans and other vulnerable children.
USA: St. Mary's Academy
St. Mary's Academy, located in the heart of New Orleans, opened its doors after Hurricane Katrina to children of all ages and means. Despite operating out of temporary buildings and trailers, they are making great progress.
