A Seat on the Bus Means a Seat in the Classroom

Getting to school safely is not a given for the girls at Molo Mhlaba. Many students live in townships where unsafe conditions can be a daily reality, making the journey to school just as important as what happens inside the classroom. Reliable transportation can help make that journey safer and more accessible each day. We’re grateful to support another grant for Molo Mhlaba, helping make that journey easier for students.

The Project

This grant funds a small bus to transport students safely to their classrooms, ensuring getting to school never becomes a barrier to learning. It also covers the installation of security gates at the Montclair campus — two panels needed for full enclosure — to prevent trespassing and create a safer environment for students and staff.

Access to education isn't just about what's taught, it's about making sure every girl can get there and feel safe when she arrives.
